As it happened at the IYWD 10th Anniversary & 16 Days Commemoration (Event in Pictures)

IYWD co-celebrated its 10th Anniversary and #16Days Commemoration at Twin Lodges, Bindura on the 29th of November 2019. Participants included young women representatives from Guruve, Shamva, Mazowe and Bindura districts as well as organisational friends and allies from different provinces.

Total attendance was 74, with 67 young women and 7 men. The event indirectly reached out to about 2500 people through Facebook and Twitter, as evidence by our social media stats (reach, likes and comments). The 10 years of existence were celebrated under the theme “A decade of feminist movement building, activism and authentic solidarity”.

Kudakwashe Munemo welcomes everyone and outlines the overview of the day.
