Institute for Young Women's Development
Welcome to our world
We are a movement of young women from rural and mining communities committed to mobilising and strengthening our voice and power to challenge oppressive systems to live a life of our choice. We do this through engaging authentically, assertively and courageously with the Government of Zimbabwe, corporations, traditional chiefs, religious leaders, families and with each other. Everyday we challenge the status quo and systems that marginalise young women and our main is to ensure that they are eliminated.
We invite you to walk with us and immense yourself in our diversity.
